The best fringe in town
Trot on over to Toni & Guy on Bloor Street (at Avenue, across from the ROM) and see Paul Formusa - he'll doll you up real nice. And he does the best fringe in town.A best friend is a girl's best friend
Well my dears, it's weekend time again! What are your plans? My absolute best friend in the world (since I was 5!), Samantha, is coming to the city this evening from Kingston. I don't get to see her very often so it's going to be fun to catch up. Do you have a friend like that? One where it doesn't matter the last time you saw each other because you always pick up right where you left off? It's a rare thing, I think, but so important to have. Consider yourself lucky.
On Sunday I will be celebrating a birthday with my extremely lovely friend Shawna! Not sure what's on the agenda yet but friends from all-over are coming. I can't wait!

True indulgence
My idea of the perfect Wednesday evening... spending the evening in and having 'me' time. The works: silk robe, your favourite movie on in the background, French Vogue, maybe polish your nails, and enjoying strawberries and glass of sparkling rose. Don't answer to anyone.
Rodate for Target
Rodarte will be releasing a limited edition collection for Target this winter, and if you ask me it's mistake. Let me preface this by telling you I am a HUGE Rodarte fan, massive. But I think the brand is much too young to dilute itself and sell to the masses, all while remaining in the luxury category. I highly doubt middle American cares for Rodarte. If the sisters are strapped for cash, a smarter route would have been designing a capsule collection for Topshop or even H&M - at least that way they wouldn't have to sacrifice on design by watering down and over-editing.
To be honest I'm a little scared of what the mass version of these BEAUTIFUL knit/bandage combos will look like. I think it is going to look so sad on a cheap plastic hanger.
Is everyone forgetting the Alexander McQueen for Target collection? Hideous! An example of a true artist trading dollars for vision. It really speaks to the times, doesn't it?

Grand things
Really happy for my dear friend, Ryan.
Life is so full of twists and turns. Curly, curly, curly roads. Sometimes steep, other times narrow - so steep and so narrow you feel like you might just fall off down into the rabbit hole. Work hard, love the ones you love, and always walk on the sunny side of the street. Good things come to those who make them happen, not for those who wait.
